Living in Erfurt’s former publishing house: a place for new stories
At the eastern entrance to Erfurt’s city centre, the Thüringer Zeitung had its home at Juri-Gagarin-Ring 113/117 for 25 years. After another 25 years of vacancy, the construction project provides for the renovation of the existing high-rise building and a new building with underground parking in place of the current print shop building, as well as the new construction of the intermediate building. There will be 1- to 3-room flats on the top floors with a panoramic view of the historic city centre and the cathedral.
