Focus on people – our mission statement
The history of CG Elementum began more than 25 years ago, when Christoph Gröner and his predecessor company specialized for many years in project development in rental housing. Building on this, CG Elementum, as a subsidiary of the Gröner Group, has been covering all processes in the life cycle of a property under its umbrella since 2020: from planning and development to construction, leasing and management.
Out of conviction and in awareness of our overall social responsibility, we follow a holistic sustainability claim in our thinking and actions, which puts people at the center. We want to create sustainable and future-proof living, working and living spaces for the people in our country, in which they feel comfortable in the long term.
Our sustainability maxim runs stringently through all areas – from ecological innovations and economically sensible digital solutions to partnership-based dealings with politicians, the public, citizens, and our social commitment. We pay particular attention to the consistent optimization of our greenhouse gas balance – under the umbrella term ConceptGreen, we bundle all activities that reduce CO2 in the construction and operation of our properties. In the long term, we aim to achieve a CO2-neutral footprint.
Furthermore, we have specialized in preserving and revitalizing valuable building fabric on the basis of our many years of expertise in the renovation and conversion of listed buildings: Old, mostly derelict industrial sites and buildings are comprehensively refurbished and put to new use. What is not worth preserving is demolished, recycled as construction waste, and the vacant space is rebuilt. In this way, new residential and living spaces as well as modern and lively inner-city neighborhoods can be created. This is sustainable in several respects.
