The architectural competition for Building Lot 12 of the GREENVILLE project in Karlsruhe has been completed. A top-class jury of experts, consisting of representatives from science, business and the municipality, has selected the three best from 13 submitted designs. The winner is the Karlsruhe-based architectural firm ruser + partner mbb.

From 20 to 27 July 2023, always on weekdays from 9.00 to 17.00 hrs,
at the CG Elementum branch in Karlruhe, Fiduciastraße 2.
First place
architekturbüro ruser + partner mbb:
The architectural firm ruser + partner mbb submitted the best competition design. The judges felt that this ensured the greatest possible flexibility and acceptance for the new neighborhood square. The floor plans are generously proportioned and flexible.

Second place
KFWM Architekten BDA PartGmbH
Close behind in second place is the design by KFWM Architekten. Here, the focus is on open, generous interactions between interior and exterior spaces. Thanks to a large number of non-load-bearing walls, the floor plans can be flexibly designed.

Freivogel Mayer Architekten GmbH Büro Ludwigsburg
The design by Freivogel Mayer Architekten came in third place. Particularly noteworthy here are the movable PV modules on the facade and the facade greening. This changes the appearance of the facade on a daily basis.
